Metamorphic

A rock
Is an idea,

You say.

Hold on just a minute!
I say,
A rock is a real, tangible thing.

But right now
You do not hold a rock in your hand,

You say.
You hold it in your mind.

It’s the idea of a rock,

You say,

That gives it a name,
That suggests a use.

Yes,
I say,
Such as hurling it at you
So you will stop talking
And go away!
